How to write 学习进步 — "Progress in Your Studies" in Chinese
学习进步 (xué xí jìn bù) is how you say "progress in your studies" in Chinese. The New Year blessing adults give school-age kids — “may your studies keep improving”. Below is each character with its pinyin and meaning, plus a free tracing worksheet you can print in seconds.

Using 学习进步
学习 means “to study” and 进步 means “progress”, so 学习进步 is “(may you) make progress in your studies”. It is the blessing adults aim at schoolchildren at Chinese New Year — expect to hear it from grandparents right before they hand over a red envelope and ask about school.
Kids also write it to classmates: 祝你学习进步，新年快乐 is a complete two-line card. In Traditional Chinese the phrase is 學習進步 — 学 becomes 學, 习 becomes 習, and 进 becomes 進; only 步 stays unchanged, which makes it a good demo of how Simplified and Traditional differ.
